Links to .gov, .edu, Wikipedia and similar domains transfer recognisable authority.
Pass condition in our engine: At least one link to a listed authority domain is present.
1. Problem description
We do not treat every .org as an authority. Prefer government, university, Wikipedia, major journals and newsrooms. One good link beats ten directory submissions.
2. Most common causes
- All outbound links are commercial partners.
- Wikipedia is linked only from a share widget, not the article.
3. How to fix it
- Cite the primary standard, law or paper.
- Use the official domain, not a scraper mirror.
