Statistics present

Concrete numbers, percentages and “according to” phrases make claims checkable.

Pass condition in our engine: At least one statistical pattern is found in the HTML.

1. Problem description

Vague “many users” is less citable than “62%”. We detect percentages, large numbered quantities and attribution phrases. Invented stats will backfire — only publish numbers you can source.

2. Most common causes

  • Purely qualitative copy.
  • Numbers live only in an infographic image.

3. How to fix it

  1. Include at least one sourced figure in the body text.
  2. Write the number in HTML, not only in a chart PNG.

Test this check

We fetch only this URL (plus robots.txt / llms.txt at the domain root when the check needs them). We do not crawl the rest of the site like a full report.
