Iframe titles
WCAG 4.1.2: frames need an accessible name, usually title.
Pass condition in our engine: Every iframe has a non-empty title — or there are no iframes.
1. Problem description
Untitled iframes are announced as “frame” with no purpose — a problem for YouTube, maps and payment widgets.
2. Most common causes
- Embed snippets copied without title.
- Empty title="".
3. How to fix it
- Set title="YouTube video: …" or similar.
- Prefer native elements over iframes when you can.
