FAQPage markup maps Q&A blocks to a format models already use in answers.

Pass condition in our engine: FAQPage JSON-LD is present.

1. Problem description

If you already write FAQs as H2 + paragraph, wrapping them in FAQPage JSON-LD (and matching visible text) makes extraction trivial. Fake FAQs stuffed with keywords risk rich-result spam; keep real questions.

2. Most common causes

  • FAQs are in an accordion with no schema.
  • Schema lists questions that are not on the page (policy violation).
  • The block is a JS widget with empty HTML.

3. How to fix it

  1. Mark up real question/answer pairs with FAQPage MainEntity Question/Answer.
  2. Show the same text on the page.
  3. Skip FAQPage on pages that are not actually FAQs.
