Core Web Vitals is a set of Google metrics measuring user experience on a page. Since 2021, they are an official ranking factor.

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) - measures main content loading time. Goal: under 2.5 seconds. Optimize images, use CDN, lazy loading.

INP (Interaction to Next Paint) - replaced FID in 2024. Measures page responsiveness. Goal: under 200ms. Minimize JavaScript, use web workers.

CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) - measures visual stability. Goal: under 0.1. Always specify image and ad dimensions, avoid dynamically inserted content.

Measurement tools: Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, Google Search Console. Regularly monitor and optimize these metrics.
